Anatoli Davidson

Anatoli Davidson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Anatoli is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Pley since September 2022. Before that, Anatoli was the Director of Engineering at Epidemic Sound from March 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading the Engineering function in two different business domains and managing Engineering Managers and Platform Leads.

Prior to Epidemic Sound, Anatoli worked at Spotify as the Senior Manager of Strategy Operations from August 2020 to February 2021. Anatoli led the Strategy Operations function for an R&D organization of over 600 people and managed a team of Operations Managers.

Anatoli also has experience at Google, where they served as a Program Manager from July 2016 to August 2020. In this role, they managed complex cross functional engineering programs and supported various teams, including WebRTC, Google Duo, Chrome, and Google Meet.

Before Google, Anatoli was the Engineering Manager for Mobile Apps at News Corp from December 2013 to March 2016. Anatoli led the Mobile Apps division and managed in-house cross-functional engineering teams as well as external development partners.

Anatoli's earlier career includes roles at Accenture as an Associate Manager from March 2011 to November 2013 and as a Systems Analyst from February 2007 to March 2011. Anatoli also worked as a Software Engineer at Racasse AB from September 2001 to January 2007 and as the CEO of PSL Bygg, a subsidiary of an international house manufacturing company, from March 2004 to October 2005.

Anatoli started their career as a Programmer at Nivel SRL from September 1997 to August 1999. Overall, Anatoli Davidson brings a wealth of experience in engineering, leadership, strategy operations, and project management to their current role as VP of Engineering at Pley.

Anatoli Davidson has a diverse education history. Anatoli obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Imperial College Business School from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they attended The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, where they studied Computer Science. Anatoli also holds a Licentiate degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science, which they earned from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Anatoli has obtained several certifications, including Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) from ICAgile, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Krauthammer Leadership Programme from Krauthammer, and Prince2 Practitioner from APMG-International.
