Amy Elise de Jong

Amy Elise de Jong has a wide range of experience in the education and arts fields. Amy Elise began their career in 2009 as an After School Enrichment Program instructor at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark. In 2010, they took on two roles, Lead Teacher at Mustard Seed School and Associate Director and Lead Facilitator at Story Haven LLC. Amy Elise then joined Cathedral Arts Festival in 2012 as Head of Visual Art. Most recently, in 2018, they began working at Training The Street as Manager of Talent Development and DEI Chair, as well as Executive Assistant and Client Services Associate.

Amy Elise de Jong obtained a Bachelor's degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Calvin University between 2004 and 2008. Amy Elise then obtained a K-5 Certification in Elementary Education and Teaching from Hudson County Community College between 2012 and 2013. In February 2021, they obtained a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
