Rowan Ferrabee

Rowan Ferrabee has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the co-founder and CTO of Trajekt Sports Inc. since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Mechatronics Engineering Student at the University of Waterloo from September 2014 to April 2019, where they were also the President and co-founder of the University of Waterloo BioMechatronics Student Design Team.

Rowan has also gained industry experience through internships at Google as a Software Engineering Intern from May 2018 to August 2018, at Layer 6 AI as an Artificial Intelligence Engineering Intern from September 2017 to December 2017, and at Thalmic Labs as a Machine Learning Engineering Student from January 2017 to August 2017.

Furthermore, Rowan worked as a Medical Device Developer at Intellijoint Surgical Inc. from May 2016 to August 2016, where they led the development of an image-guided surgical navigation application. Rowan also has experience as a Junior Embedded Software Developer and Firmware Developer at BlackBerry, from September 2015 to December 2015, and from January 2015 to April 2015 respectively.

Before their professional career, Rowan worked as a Tutor from September 2011 to June 2014 and as a Busser at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar from March 2012 to October 2012.

Rowan Ferrabee attended Carleton University from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Mathematics. Following that, Rowan enrolled at the University of Waterloo from 2014 to 2019. No specific degree or field of study information was provided for their time at the University of Waterloo.
