Trevin York

Head of Game Design at TRAKID

Trevin York has worked in the gaming industry since 2011. Trevin began their career at LucasArts as a Project Creative Services Assistant. Trevin then moved on to Mindblown Labs as Lead Game Designer, where they designed and built games and other interactive experiences. Trevin also held Lead Instructor and Curriculum Designer positions at Digital Media Academy and Galileo Learning, and a Citizen Teacher position at Citizen Schools. In 2017, they were a Conversation Assistant at The Community of Madrid, and in 2020 they became the Head of Game Design at TRAKID.

Trevin York has a High School Diploma from Fairfield Prep, obtained in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they attended The Art Institute of California - San Francisco, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design. Trevin is currently pursuing a Master of Arts - MA in Design for Change at The University of Edinburgh, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Trevin also holds certifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) / Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange (obtained in May 2017), as well as CPR/AED ADULT and Standard First Aid from the American Red Cross (both obtained in July 2012).
