Edward Park

Dr. Edward Park is currently the Chief Data Scientist at TrakInvest, a company they have been with since 2014. Prior to TrakInvest, Dr. Park was a Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2012-2014, where they did statistical analysis of big data traffic flow data, including spatial-temporal correlation of road networks, optimal routing strategy, and optimal sensor network. Edward also worked on real-time calibration of traffic models using Kalman Filters for linear systems and Extended Kalman Filters (EKF) for nonlinear systems. In 2012, they were a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. From 2011-2012, they worked as a Quantitative Analyst at HedgeSPA. From 2010-2011, they were a Research Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing. Dr. Park obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2010.
