Chad Hopkins

Chad Hopkins is a Senior Mechanical Designer at Trane Technologies since April 2021, leading an international team of designers to ensure project requirements are met while maintaining quality and consistency in design processes. Previously, Chad held roles as a Mechanical Designer and Design Engineer, contributing to large commercial HVAC projects and sign design using CAD software such as Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. Chad's extensive experience also includes over 14 years at Woodward, Inc. as a Mechanical Designer, where responsibilities encompassed creating complex 3D models and implementing process improvements through Six Sigma and Lean tools. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technological Education and Training from Colorado State University.
