Mackenzie Darkow

Mackenzie Darkow is currently a senior mechanical engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, with an emphasis in biomedical engineering and double minors in French language and translation and mathematics. Mackenzie has held various positions, including Energy Engineer at Trane Technologies, where they gained valuable experience in energy engineering and sustainability projects. Previously, Mackenzie served as a Research Project Manager at the university, focusing on developing affordable assistive devices for developing countries, and has been actively involved in mentoring women in STEM. Their past roles also include a Sales Associate at Marshalls Distribution Center and a Manufacturing Engineer at Phillips-Medisize, where they implemented processes to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
