Grant Lewis Waters has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental data, acoustics, and sound research. Grant Lewis co-founded and served as a director at Tranquil City, an environmental data company focused on promoting healthier city living and sustainable city design. In this role, they integrated environmental data into everyday technologies and enabled strategic sustainable city planning. Grant also worked as a senior consultant at Anderson Acoustics, specializing in soundscape and sound quality in the AVAS sector. At Zelig Sound, they served as an acoustics and sound researcher, applying research in the creative process of creating sonic branding and sound art installation projects. Grant also worked as an acoustic engineer at Hoare Lea, where they contributed to large-scale architectural and environmental acoustic projects, developed sound modelling tools, and conducted research on Active Noise Cooling Vents for New Homes. Additionally, they participated in a graduate exchange program with Broadway Malyan Architects, gaining experience in architectural design. Grant started their career as an assistant acoustic consultant at Bureau Veritas.

Grant Lewis Waters attended London Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors. Their degree specialization was in Music Technology with a focus on Audio Systems.
