Martin Pangracs

Martin Pangracs has extensive work experience in various roles related to internal audit, risk management, and compliance. Martin is currently the Director of Internal Audit at Trans Mountain, where they have been since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Shaw Communications as the Manager of Security Partnerships and Manager of Risk & Compliance, where they implemented an enterprise risk management program and enhanced security awareness and training efforts. Before that, they held positions at Suncor Energy as a Senior Internal Auditor and Manager of Upstream & Shared Services Unit Reporting. Martin also served as the Governance Risk & Assurance Manager at Shell and as a Senior Accountant at KPMG.

Martin Pangracs completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta in 1994. Martin also holds additional certifications including Leadership from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University (obtained in 2023), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) (obtained in 2016), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) from ISACA (obtained in 2012), and a Chartered Accountant Designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) (obtained in 2004).
