Leon Tunison

Leon Tunison has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and avionics. Leon has worked at TransAct® Technologies since 1994, starting as a Technical Support Engineer and progressing to a Senior Systems Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, providing end user support, and working closely with other department managers to meet the company's IT needs. Leon then became an IT Manager, where they successfully managed various IT initiatives, including implementing a VoIP phone system and redesigning the WAN. Leon was later promoted to Senior IT Manager and most recently served as the IT Director. Prior to their time at TransAct, Leon worked as an Avionics Technician in the US Air Force, where they performed troubleshooting and repair work on F-15 aircraft.

Leon Tunison attended Excelsior University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Their field of study included Management of Information Technology Systems, Project Management, and Computer Programming. Additionally, Leon obtained certifications from Microsoft, including MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 in February 2000 and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in February 1998.
