Director Of Product Management For API Platform And Data Analytics at Transact

Ian Ashworth has an extensive work experience spanning over various roles in different companies. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Product Management for API Platform and Data Analytics at Transact Campus Inc, where they are responsible for leading the delivery of their next-generation platform and spearheading the transition to a data-driven organization.

Prior to that, Ian worked at Cubic Transportation Systems from 2019 to 2021, where they held positions as Systems Engineering Director for North America and Systems Engineering and Test Lead for Global Product Delivery.

From 2015 to 2019, Ian was a Senior Solutions Architect at Cubic Transportation Systems, where they played a key role in the system architecture definition and design of a new Contactless Payment Card reader for the transit market.

Before joining Cubic Transportation Systems, Ian worked at Thales UK from 2009 to 2015, where they served as a Product Architect and Technical Design Authority for their digital Thales Radar Electronic Support Measures Sensor. Ian also worked as an Electronics Systems Engineer and performed novel time-frequency transform DSP research.

Ian started their career as a Systems Engineer at the European Space Agency in 2008, where they were responsible for completion of Mission Control System User Acceptance Tests and designing and implementing a resource planning tool for spacecraft missions.

Additionally, they have also worked as an Undergraduate Intern at SIEMENS Power Control GmbH, where they focused on the control network for offshore wind turbines, and as a Buckingham Palace Warden at The Royal Collection, where they served as a summer warden of the state rooms at Buckingham Palace.

Ian Ashworth has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which was obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Imperial College London from 2004 to 2008. Their earlier education includes A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Electronics, Geography, and Chemistry from The Grove College, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Ian Ashworth also has additional certifications, including Algorithmic Toolbox and Machine Learning, which were obtained from Coursera in 2020.
