Andrea Markó

Andrea Markó (Andrea Busch) has over 20 years of experience in various leadership positions in finance and management. Andrea Markó has held roles such as CFO at Cellum Group, CFO at Lufthansa Technik Budapest Ltd, and CEO at Gasztrometal Ltd and HungaroControl. Andrea has successfully led reorganization projects, developed new strategies, and implemented EU financed plant projects. Andrea Markó has also been responsible for international projects in the field of air navigation services and has a proven track record of implementing effective organizational changes. Andrea has a strong background in finance and has been involved in controlling, reporting, and taxation. Andrea Markó has a proven ability to drive cost savings and develop efficient controlling systems.

Andrea Markó (Andrea Busch) has a diverse education history. Andrea Markó began their education by earning a Dipl. Engineer degree in engineering from the University of Miskolc from 1983-1988. Andrea Markó then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in project management, controlling from Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 1993-1995.

Andrea Markó continued their education at Budapest Business School from 1995-1997, where they earned a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance. During the same period, Andrea also attended the IFUA controlling academy in 1995-1996.

In 1999-2000, Andrea attended the Price Waterhouse and Coopers and British Know How Fund, where they completed a Strategic Planning and Change Management Program.

Andrea further continued their studies in business and managerial economics, obtaining an MBA and Economist degree from the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest in cooperation with the University of New York in 1999-2000.

Over the years, Andrea has acquired additional certifications and training. Andrea Markó completed a Lean Manager program from Samling in 2011, a SIX SIGMA green belt program from EUZERT in 2014, and became a Registered Accountant from Oktáv in 2014-2015.

Most recently, Andrea completed the ACCA DipIFR - registered CPA program in IFRS from Price Waterhouse Coopers in 2016.
