Sorin Grama

CEO & Co-Founder at Transaera

Sorin Grama is the CEO and co-founder of Transaera, a company that is working to make it easier for people to transition to a plant-based diet. Sorin has a long history of working in the cleantech industry, and they are passionate about making a positive impact on the world. Sorin was one of the co-founders of Greentown Labs, the largest cleantech incubator in the United States. Sorin has also worked as a guest faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they taught a course on inclusive innovations. In addition to their work in the cleantech industry, Sorin has also worked as a district sales manager and field sales engineer for National Instruments.

Grama earned their BS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Sorin then went on to earn their MS in Engineering & Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Grama's educational career began with him attending high school in Victoria, Romania, where they studied physics and mathematics.
