Golara Zaifnejad

Golara Zaifnejad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project controls and cost management within the renewable energy and construction sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Controls Specialist at TransAlta since July 2022, Zaifnejad provides comprehensive project controls support for large-scale projects, leveraging a blend of internal standards and industry best practices. Previously, Zaifnejad worked at ATCO Energy Solutions and WorleyParsons in various project controls roles from June 2019 to July 2022 and January 2012 to June 2019, respectively, focusing on budget development, scheduling, cost reporting, and risk analysis. Zaifnejad holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Islamic Azad University.
