Kevin Porras

Kevin Porras is a Consultant in Sustainability and Energy Analytics at Brightly, starting in July 2023. Previously, Kevin held the position of Power Intern at Hatch from May 2021 to April 2022, working on projects related to grid modernization and various energy technologies, as well as engaging in proposal development and stakeholder interactions. Prior experience includes a role as an NSERC Summer Research Student at the University of Toronto, where Kevin developed anomaly detection systems utilizing deep learning for power systems security. Kevin also served as a Minds in Motion Instructor at the University of Calgary, focusing on STEM curriculum planning and leading summer camps. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, completing the degree in May 2023.
