Frédérick Hamel has worked in various technical and support roles in the IT industry. Frédérick started their career at CGI in 2011 as a Senior Consultant providing level 1 IT support. Frédérick then joined Cirque du Soleil in 2014 as a IT Support Technician. In 2015, they moved to Transat where they initially worked as a Level 2 Technical Advisor and later became a Level 3 User Support Analyst. Currently, they are employed at Transat as a Principal Systems Administrator in the Information Systems department.
Frédérick Hamel completed a specialization in computer support at EMICA in 2014. In addition, they obtained the HDI Support Analyst Certification from HDI and completed courses in Automating Administration with Windows PowerShell from AFI Expertise and Administering System Center Configuration Manager from Global Knowledge Canada.
