Anthony Fitzgerald

Anthony Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience in the localization industry. Starting from 1998, they worked as a Multimedia Software Engineer at Havas Interactive. Anthony then moved on to Vivendi Universal Games, where they served as a Senior Localisation Engineer and later as a Lead Localisation Engineer. Following that, from 2006 to 2012, they worked at SimulTrans as the Manager of Engineering, Tools and Process, overseeing various departments and leading engineering projects. In 2009, they founded their own company, The Localizer, offering localization services. Finally, since 2014, Anthony has been working as the CTO at Transatlantic Translations, specializing in technical translations, e-Learning localization, and providing telephone interpreting services.

Anthony Fitzgerald attended Dundalk Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Certificate in Computing. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Dublin City University, from 1994 to 1997.
