Hodgen Mainda

Hodgen Mainda has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Hodgen currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development at Transcard, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer at truxio from February 2021 to January 2022.

From October 2019 to November 2020, Mainda served as the Commissioner for the State of Tennessee's Department of Commerce & Insurance. Before that, they briefly held the position of Commissioner Appointee at the same department from September to October 2019.

Mainda's previous roles include Vice President of Community Development and Director of Government Relations and Community Development at EPB from 2017 to 2019. Hodgen also served as Vice President at Noon Development in 2016.

In 2015, Mainda was the Director of Business Development at River Branch Strategies, a government relations firm based in Chattanooga, TN. From 2014 to 2015, they held the position of Director of Business Development and Provider Relations at One to One Health.

Mainda's earliest work experience includes a long tenure at Dale L. Buchanan & Assoc. where they served as the Director of Legal Operations, Government Relations & Community Outreach from 1999 to 2014.

Hodgen Mainda's education history includes attending Harvard Business School in 2022, where they completed a Fintech Course. In 2018, they also participated in the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School, focusing on Business Cross-Sector Collaboration. Furthermore, Hodgen Mainda attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1999 to 2002, where they studied Political Science with a concentration in Government and International Relations.
