Stephen Ames

Stephen Ames, CISA, CISSP, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Transcard since May 2022. Previously, Stephen held the position of Director of Information Security & Compliance at SavvyMoney from December 2020 to May 2022. At Shift4 Payments, Stephen's tenure from May 2008 to September 2020 included roles as VP of Security & Compliance and Global Data Protection Officer, as well as Senior Director of Security Compliance. During this period, Stephen established and managed enterprise-wide security compliance and risk management programs based on PCI DSS and ISO 27000 frameworks, and was the first dedicated InfoSec employee at Shift4, successfully building and leading the Information Security department. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business & Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
