Kaitlin Taylor

Kaitlin Taylor is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in medical device development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Transcend since August 2025, Kaitlin previously held key roles at Lungpacer Medical from November 2014 to August 2025, including Director of Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering Manager, where responsibilities encompassed functional management and program management for the Lungpacer Diaphragm Pacing Therapy System in compliance with relevant regulatory standards. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Electrical Engineer/System Engineering Lead, Electrical Engineer at Aubrey Group, and a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Hospital, as well as an Engineering Intern at Biolase Technology. Kaitlin holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
