Gregory Jourdan

Gregory Jourdan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gregory is currently working as a Sr Solutions Engineer at Transcend since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Sr Solutions Architect at Mapbox from April 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they were responsible for mapping and navigation solutions on the West Coast, managing a portfolio of over $4M of recurring revenue, and creating industry-first solutions.

Before joining Mapbox, Gregory worked at Amazon Lab126, where they held two different positions. From April 2017 to April 2021, they served as a Solutions Architect leading partner integration of Single Sign-On on Amazon FireTV and acting as a point of contact for streaming services like Disney, ESPN, and Fox. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer from February 2013 to April 2017, contributing to the development of Amazon FireTV's flagship voice search feature and receiving positive media feedback.

Gregory also brings experience from their time at Orb Networks (now Qualcomm) as a Java/Android/BluRay expert, where they contributed to the release of Orb Blu-ray and developed streaming APIs. At Orange, they worked as a Software Engineer and implemented a faster and improved version of the tv DSL "Orange box." Additionally, they worked as a PHP Developer at SMS Central, improving and supporting their flagship platform, and as a J2EE Developer at NewBay Software, supporting and improving products for T-Mobile.

Gregory started their career at BL Informatique, where they worked as a C++, Java, and PHP Designer/Developer, developing touchscreen modules and various web applications. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in solutions engineering, architecture, software development, and integration across multiple industries.

Gregory Jourdan's education history begins in 2001 when they attended CPGE Lycée Thiers for two years, specializing in Maths and Physics. Following this, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths/Physics at Aix-Marseille University. Finally, from 2003 to 2006, Gregory enrolled in Polytech Marseille to complete their Engineer's degree, focusing on Computer Science.
