Safaa Darwish

Safaa Darwish has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Safaa is currently working as a Program Manager - Customer Privacy Operations at Transcend since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Gopuff as a Senior Privacy Operations Specialist from September 2021 to April 2023.

Safaa also has legal experience, having worked as a Paralegal at ABDULLAH LAW FIRM PLLC from June 2020 to August 2021, where they conducted research, curated evidence, and prepared legal documents. Safaa also worked as a Legal Assistant at Dilek Law, PLLC from February 2020 to June 2020.

In addition, Safaa has demonstrated their analytical and interpersonal skills as an Ecommerce Associate at University Bookstore from September 2019 to January 2020, where they audited orders and provided customer service. Safaa also gained experience as a Data & Direct Representation Summer Intern at The Bronx Defenders in 2019.

Safaa has shown their entrepreneurial skills by serving as the Founder/President of the Middle East & North Africa Literature Festival from May 2018 to May 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Assistant at University of Washington Bothell School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences from October 2017 to January 2019.

Safaa Darwish received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Thinking & Visualization from the University of Washington, which was earned between the years 2017 and 2019. In addition to their degree, Safaa obtained two additional certifications. Safaa completed the "Foundations of Databases & SQL Programming" program at the University of Washington in December 2021. Safaa also completed the "Data: Law, Policy and Regulation" program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in April 2021.
