Thierry Palanca

Thierry Palanca has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical and films industry. Thierry started their career at Dow Chemical in 1989 as a Research & Development Chemist in Emulsion Polymer. Thierry was responsible for developing and optimizing Acrylate Emulsion Polymer formulations, and was eventually promoted to Senior Research Chemist. In 1993, they transitioned to the role of Technical Service & Development in Films, where they acted as the interface between R&D and customers for new projects. Thierry also provided technical support to customers and worked on daily sales. In 1998, they took on the position of Market Development Manager for Automotive Films, where they were in charge of developing film sales in the EMEA region for Tier 1 and 2 customers. Additionally, they were responsible for developing heat-activated films for various substrates. In 2000, Thierry became a Senior Account Manager in Technical Films, where they managed accounts and provided technical expertise. Thierry remained in this role until 2016, when they joined Transcendia, Inc. as the European Sales Manager.

Thierry Palanca obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from CPE Lyon, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Thierry then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from IAE STRASBOURG, specializing in Business Administration and Management, from 1991 to 1993. During the same period, they also attended IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management, where they earned another Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
