Jon Beyman has performed a variety of senior management roles in financial services technology and operations over his nearly 40-year career. From 2008-2014, he served as a Global Head of Operations and Technology of Citibank‘s Institutional Client Group. Jon was responsible for the development of software applications that supported the bank’s market-making and trading businesses, back-office securities settlement, global payment networks, custody networks, portfolio management, risk management and financial management systems. In addition, he managed and was accountable for the settlement, processing, control and regulatory compliance of US$5 trillion worth of daily transactions in the 100 countries where Citi does business. Jon also chaired Citi’s Chief Information Officer Council, a consolidated governance and decision-making body which set unified policies and standards across the bank.
Prior to Citi, Jon served as the Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Operations and Technology at Lehman Brothers, Global Head of Investment Bank Operations at Credit Suisse, and in CIO and COO roles atf Cendant Corporation. Jon serves on the Board of Directors of Polaris Consulting and Services, and several non-profit boards, and is a former member of various industry boards including the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation. Having earned his own MBA at Cornell, he has taught Managing Technology as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut MBA program.
