Chris Smith

Chris Smith is a technology entrepreneur who has founded, launched and grown companies in partnership with private equity, venture capital and private investors. Chris is currently CEO of Detechtion Technologies, which provides optimization software to the energy industry. Prior to Detechtion, as CEO of CygNet Software, Chris led the company through a period of growth which resulted in a successful exit to Weatherford International. Over the past 20 years he has led numerous technology companies which serve the energy and manufacturing industries.
