Pierre Zivec

Senior Vice President Performance, Safety And Digital at Transdev Canada

Pierre Zivec has extensive work experience in the transportation industry. Pierre began their career at Alstom Transport as a Maintenance Engineer in 2003 and then worked for Veolia Transportation as a Maintenance Manager from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they played a key role in reorganizing and implementing preventive maintenance systems, as well as managing the implementation of new bus lines and contracts with public transport authorities.

In 2009, Zivec joined Transdev, where they served as the Fleet & Maintenance Manager. In this role, they optimized the fleet by identifying local needs, implemented performance indicators for purchase agreements, and developed a total cost of ownership methodology for selecting bus and coach providers. Pierre held this position until 2015.

Zivec then moved on to Transdev Australasia, where they worked as the National Fleet & Maintenance Manager from 2015 to 2017. Here, they focused on process and change management, implementing shared processes and quality metrics across Australia. Pierre also developed a new budget methodology and established strong links between operations and procurement/legal agreements.

Their most recent role was at Transdev Canada, where they started in 2018 as the General Manager Maintenance and Procurement. In this role, they optimized the fleet and fleet investments, and implemented technical and regulatory criteria for selecting maintenance suppliers. Pierre was later promoted to Vice President Performance, Safety, and Digital, where they managed various departments and drove the evolution towards future transportation modes.

Throughout their career, Zivec has demonstrated expertise in fleet management, maintenance, and business operations. Pierre has a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and implementing innovative solutions to meet client needs.

Pierre Zivec completed their high school education at Lycee Saint Aspais from 1994 to 1997, achieving a high school degree in the field of High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Following this, they attended Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Ground Transportation.
