Eoghan Sweeney

Eoghan Sweeney has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Eoghan started their career as an Intern at Transdev, where they assisted in coordinating the Luas Infrastructure and Vehicle Maintenance Contracts. Eoghan then became a Research Engineer, focusing on energy reduction in the Luas light rail system. Eoghan later worked as a Vehicle Maintenance Contract Manager and Luas Cross City Programme Manager, successfully managing construction tie-in works and mobilization activities. Eoghan also served as a Contracts Manager, responsible for managing the Operating and Maintenance Contracts for the Luas system. Additionally, Eoghan worked at Mercury Engineering as an Electrical Technician, installing and commissioning fire safety systems, and at Crana Electric, Inc. as an Electrical Technician, working on electrical installations in high-rise luxury apartments. Currently, they are the Deputy Managing Director at Transdev Ireland, leading a multifaceted business transformation to improve performance, customer experience, and business resilience.
