Hani Chahine

Hani Chahine is an experienced operations management professional currently serving as the Operations Deputy Director for the Ontario Line at Transdev, a position held since December 2024, overseeing a pioneering driverless rail project. Prior to this role, Hani managed operations and the Operations Control Center for the Hazel McCallion Line, ensuring safe and efficient light rail transit from July 2021 to December 2024. Previously, Hani worked at the Toronto Transit Commission from July 2006 to July 2021, holding various positions including Operations Manager for Transit Control and Surface Rail, where responsibilities included crisis management and enhancing service delivery. Hani began the journey in the transit industry as a Route Supervisor and Streetcar Operator. Currently pursuing an Executive MBA with a focus on leadership at the University of Fredericton, expected to graduate in May 2025.
