Kevin Stein

Kevin Stein is the current President & CEO at TransDigm. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of TransDigm Group Inc. from October 2014 to December 2018. From January 2009 to October 2014, Kevin was the President Structurals Division & Executive Vice President of Precision Castparts. Precision Castparts Corp. manufactures metal components and products primarily in the United States and the United Kingdom. The company operates in three segments: Investment Cast Products, Forged Products, and Fastener Products - largely for the Aerospace and Energy Markets. From August 2005 to January 2009, Kevin served as the President of Cooper Bussmann, a manufacturer of Electrical, Electronic and Transportation related circuit protection and power distribution products. Prior to that, Kevin was the General Manager of Circuit Protection Division at Tyco Electronics from January 1999 to December 2005. Kevin started their career as an Operations Director at Raychem Corporation from January 1992 to December 1999.

Kevin Stein earned a PhD in Inorganic/Polymer Chemistry from Stanford University, an MS in Inorganic Chemistry from Stanford University, and a BS in Chemistry from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
