Martin Saporito

Martin Saporito has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Martin currently serves as the Chief in Financial Planning and Analysis at Transelec S.A since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Controller Financiero at Prime Energia SpA from June 2020 to February 2021, where they were responsible for developing monthly management reports and supporting various tasks in the treasury and accounting areas.

From August 2016 to June 2020, Martin worked at Transelec S.A as part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this role, they generated results and performance reports for shareholders and the board of directors, developed the company's five-year business plan, and controlled business performance through KPI and productivity initiatives.

Before joining Transelec S.A, Martin worked as an External Consultant at Chilectra S.A from September 2014 to February 2015. Martin also served as a Thesis Intern at Chilectra from October 2013 to March 2014, where they contributed to the development of a methodology for project prioritization and selection.

Additionally, Martin gained valuable experience during their professional practice at different organizations. Martin worked as part of a team of engineering students from Universidad de Chile at Caldera Municipality, where they participated in the development of a business plan for the restoration of historical heritage. Martin also completed a professional practice at El Mundo del Vino S.A, where they analyzed the organization's inventory system and proposed improvements to optimize logistics processes.

Martin Saporito completed their primary and secondary education at The Mayflower School from 1995 to 2006. Afterward, they attended the Universidad de Chile from 2007 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering. In November 2019, they also obtained a certification in Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
