Rick D'Errico

Rick D'Errico has extensive work experience in public relations, communications, and media. Rick began their career in 2001 as a Web Editor at American City Business Journals- The Business Review. In 2013, they became the Director of Communications and Client Services at Buzz Media Solutions, where they partnered with clients on business and marketing strategies. In 2014, they took on the role of Principal at RAD Public Relations and Director of Public Relations at Transfinder, where they worked to enhance the company's visibility globally, nationally, and locally. In 2015, they became a Member of the Schenectady Motion Picture, Television and Media Arts Commission. In 2017, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor at Schenectady County Community College and Advisor at Our.News. Additionally, they have presented to the Capital Region Chamber's Leadership Tech Valley class and moderated several of the chamber's Young Professional Network's events. Rick has also been a mentor in the chamber's mentorship program and a participant in its entrepreneurship bootcamp programs.

Rick D'Errico received their Diploma from Clayton A Bouton High School between 1984 and 1986. Rick then attended Guilderland High School from 1982 to 1984. In 1986, they began their Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northeastern University and completed it in 1991. Rick then pursued a Master's in Public Policy from SUNY Empire State College. In 2015, they received a Certificate of Completion from Hillsdale College. In 2016, they attended the University of Maryland for a course in Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship. Rick also attended the National University of Singapore in 2017 for a course in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. From 2016 to 2019, they attended The Wharton School for a course in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 2019, they pursued a Master's level coursework from Mid-America Global Northeast. Rick also received a Diploma in Social Media Marketing from Shaw Academy. In 2020, they attended Harvard University.
