Kirsten Mathieson

Kirsten Mathieson is an experienced professional in health policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Deputy Director and Policy Lead at Transform Health since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kirsten was the Global Head of Policy & Advocacy for Health & Nutrition at Save the Children International from October 2019 to September 2021 and held various positions at Save the Children UK from February 2012 to October 2019, including Head of Health, Policy and Advocacy. Kirsten has also contributed to the Gavi CSO Constituency and Action for Global Health as a Steering Committee member. Earlier roles include working as a Gender and Social Equity Specialist at FAO, where Kirsten focused on addressing gender inequalities, and as a consultant for UNDP Kenya managing gender-related projects. Kirsten holds a Master's degree in Humanitarian Affairs from Sapienza Università di Roma and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Western University.
