Karuna Sandu has extensive experience in technology leadership and data management within the retail industry. Karuna is currently the Head of Marketing Technology, Data Management & Analytics at Transformco, where they are responsible for leading the digital transformation of marketing and call center technology to enhance member and agent experiences while driving ROI. Prior to this role, they worked at Sears Holdings Corporation for over two decades, holding various positions including Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics and Senior Manager Business Intelligence. During their time at Sears, Karuna successfully implemented a BI strategy, executed projects with a customer-centric approach, and implemented cost-saving measures such as offshore working models. Karuna also conceptualized and implemented a gaming engine for store operations to motivate associates and increase sales performance. Additionally, they had a team lead role early in their career and served as a systems manager at Sears Holdings Corporation.

Karuna Sandu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, between 1992 and 1995. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Communications & Strategy from Northwestern University, from 2006 to 2009.
