Dana L. McMaster has extensive work experience in the mental health and addiction services field. Dana L. has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.

Starting in 1995, McMaster worked as a Program Director at Pressley Ridge, where they were responsible for program design, development, fiscal management, and clinical oversight. Dana L. also oversaw federal grant programs during their time there.

In 2005, McMaster transitioned to the Prestera Center for Mental Health Services, Inc., where they held multiple roles. Furthermore, Dana holds certifications such as Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Supervisor and National Certified Counselor from various institutions, including the West Virginia Certification Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals and the National Board of Certified Counselors. Dana has additional certifications in the fields of Clinical Criminal Justice, Sex Offender Treatment, and Addiction Counseling from the National Association of Forensic Counselors.
