Lucy V. has worked in the clinical research field since 1985. Lucy began as President/CEO of Lucy Vanpelt Consulting Services and then started their own company, Lucy Vanpelt, PA, in 1987. In 1995, they wrote the first edition of the Clinical Research Coordinator Handbook, which has since been translated and published in Japan. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as an author for Plexus Publishing Inc. In 2002, they returned to independent consulting and then worked as a Senior CRA for a Research Pharmaceutical company from 2010 to 2007. From 2007 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Regional CRA for Premier Research Group. In 2018, they became a Sponsor Coordinator for Cassiopeia Pharmaceutical Company and a Lead CRA for Transformative Pharmaceutical Solutions, LLC.
Lucy V. began their educational journey in 1970 when they attended Dixie State University and studied journalism, becoming the Editor of the College News paper. In 1975, they attended Utah Technical College and earned an Associate's Degree in psychiatric technician. From 1985 to 1987, they attended Westminster College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physocology, sociology, social science and marketing. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology/Theological Studies from Barry University.
