Anthea McKinnell

Anthea McKinnell is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in executive leadership and risk management. Currently serving as an Independent Non Executive Director and Chair of the Board Audit and Risk Committee at Transgrid since June 2025, McKinnell held prominent roles at Santos Ltd from July 2019 to June 2025, including Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasury at Woodside Energy from January 2005 to March 2019, and Senior Manager positions at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. McKinnell holds a Masters of International Taxation from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction in Accounting and Taxation from Curtin University, along with completing the Professional Year Program through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
