Kassem Rachid

Kassem Rachid is an experienced professional in program controls and planning, currently serving as the Program Controls Manager - Planning at Transgrid since February 2024. Prior to this role, Kassem was the Planning Lead - Confluence Water at Downer, delivering Sydney Water’s Capital Works programme. Kassem's background includes serving as a Senior Planning & Control Engineer at John Holland, where responsibilities included managing major airport roadworks projects, and as a Senior Planning Engineer for the Sydney Light Rail project with ACCIONA. Further experience includes multiple water projects during a tenure at John Holland, and earlier roles at CAE Australia and Thales focused on systems engineering and requirements management. Kassem holds a Master of Engineering Science in Project Management from UNSW and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Wollongong.
