Sunil Murthy, PhD, MBA has a wealth of work experience. Sunil began their career in 2001 as a Senior Product Marketing Manager with Between Markets Inc. Sunil then worked as a Senior Business Consultant for a High Tech Consulting Practice from 2002 to 2003. Following this, they were a Strategic Marketing Manager for Molecular Imprints, Inc. from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Moog Inc. as a Marketing Manager for the Americas in the Industrial Group and progressed to become the Group Director of Business Development & Marketing and eventually the Group VP of Marketing for the same division. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Consultant for Transient Plasma Systems, a VP of Technical Marketing & Strategic Business Development for Dura Automotive Systems LLC, an Advisor for ZyenaLABS, and a Business Mentor for NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic. Since 2020, they have been an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University and a VP of Strategic Marketing & Business Development at Transient Plasma Systems.

Sunil Murthy holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur. Sunil also holds several certifications, including UC Berkeley Executive Education: Data Science: Bridging Principles and Practice (2021), Fundamentals of Digital Marketing (2020), Certificate for Online & Hybrid Teaching and Learning (2020), Internet of Things: Roadmap to a Connected World (2017), Foresight (2015), and Voice of Customer & Quality Function Deployment (2014).
