Cody Thomas attended North Olmsted High School from 2002 to 2006 and received a diploma. Following high school, Cody attended Marietta College from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2012, Cody obtained a certification as a Licensed Insurance Producer (Life, Accident & Health) from the State of Ohio Department of Insurance.
