Yi-Fang Wang

Principal Scientist in Bioinformatics at Transine Therapeutics

Yi-Fang Wang has worked in the field of bioinformatics since 2004, when they started as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Biomolecular Modeling in Academia Sinica, Taiwan. In 2009, they completed an Internship at GenoSyst Ltd under the ADIBET project. From 2012-2015, they worked as a Bioinformatician at the University of Warwick, where they were responsible for microarray and next-generation sequencing related analysis. In 2015, they were appointed as an Honorary Fellow in the Warwick Systems Biology Centre, and also as a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences. In 2022, they will be taking on the role of Principal Scientist in Bioinformatics at Transine Therapeutics.

Yi-Fang Wang completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick in 2012.
