Kristian Branaes is a partner at Transition, focusing on supporting Seed and Series A founders in advancing the climate transition across various industries since April 2021. Previously, Kristian contributed to Atomico's sustainability strategy and Series A opportunities in a brief role during August 2020. Kristian served as an associate and analyst at CPP Investment Board from September 2015 to August 2020, specializing in relationship and private investments, particularly in renewable energy sectors. Additionally, Kristian co-founded Finance for a Sustainable Future, a social enterprise aimed at enhancing sustainability knowledge among junior finance professionals. Education includes an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc in Business Management from King's College London, supplemented by courses in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
