Iqra Tariq

Iqra Tariq is an experienced professional in social work and mental health therapy. Currently serving as a Medical Social Worker at NYC Health + Hospitals since November 2021, Iqra has also held the role of Mental Health Therapist at Transitional Services, Inc. since September 2019, providing individualized psychotherapy services and collaborating with psychiatrists on treatment plans. Prior experience includes working as an Omni Associate and Loss Prevention Specialist at Kohl's, where responsibilities encompassed fulfilling online orders and store audits. Additionally, Iqra worked as a Caseworker at Graham Windham, offering support to youth in foster care, and began the career as a Sandwich Maker at Subway. Iqra holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
