Mary Lucas, MSHCM

Mary Lucas, MSHCM, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mary most recently served as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Transitions LifeCare, where they were responsible for the overall marketing strategy and functions. Prior to this, Mary was the Director of Business Development at the same company, where they managed the Provider Relations Sales Team and collaborated with other teams to address stakeholders' needs.

Before joining Transitions LifeCare, Mary worked at Duke University Health System, where they were involved in government relations. Mary directed meetings and events, monitored regulatory and policy issues, and organized a bill tracking system.

Earlier in their career, Mary held positions at LivingSocial as the Manager of Employee Engagement and the Manager of Sales Communications. In these roles, they implemented strategies to increase employee engagement, created a knowledge library for the sales organization, and led communications around organizational restructuring.

Mary also worked at SAS as a Customer Intelligence Sales Enablement specialist, where they planned and executed global training meetings, established internal communication strategies, and created various marketing initiatives.

Finally, Mary's early experience includes roles at Bronto Software, where they served as an Account Manager and an Account Development Representative. In these positions, they managed client contracts, developed client relationships, generated new business, and provided assistance to potential customers.

Mary Lucas, MSHCM, completed their Master of Science in Health Care Management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, graduating in 2020. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Earlier, Mary attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where they pursued Nursing. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this field of study.
