Murray Dees, MSW, LCSW has a diverse work experience in social work. Murray started their career as an intern at Metrolina Association for the Blind in 2010 while completing their MSW degree at UNC Charlotte. After completing their degree in 2012, they interned at Gaston County Health Department for a year.

In 2013, Murray briefly worked as an Intensive In-Home Team Lead at A United Community, LLC. Murray then transitioned to a role as a Nanny for a private family from September 2012 to May 2013.

Murray joined SECU Hospice House and Johnston Home Care and Hospice in 2014 as a Social Worker 2. Murray remained in this role for three years until February 2017.

Currently, Murray is working as an Inpatient Palliative Care Social Worker at Transitions LifeCare, previously known as Hospice of Wake County since its founding in 1979.

Murray Dees, MSW, LCSW completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating in 2012. The field of study for their MSW remains unspecified.
