Julie Shields has extensive experience in the optical industry, with a focus on R&D engineering, process development, and quality management. Julie has held various roles at Essilor and Transitions Optical, where Julie has been involved in new product development, process improvements, and troubleshooting coating processes. With a background in R&D engineering and operations engineering, Julie has a strong foundation in developing and validating processes for new product introductions. Julie completed their education at Converse University in the late 1980s.
