Ray Sundby

Ray Sundby has accumulated a wealth of experience in the engineering and automation fields. Ray began their career in 1978 as Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Colorado Electro-Optics, where they developed and improved manufacturing processes for an electronics manufacturer. In 1988, they took on the role of Operations Manager at Flex Profile Corporation, a startup company providing SMT reflow equipment and SMT consulting services. In 1991, they became Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Ansell Healthcare, a condom and glove manufacturer. Sundby's accomplishments there included compound department automation, SCADA implementation, leak test automation, and inventory disposition. In 1996, they took on the role of Control Engineer at Eclipse Automation. From 2002 to 2014, they worked as a Consultant for both Ray Sundby and Maverick Enterprises, Inc. In 2010, they became Senior Facilities Engineer at PAE, where they worked on the ice at South Pole Station, Antarctica. Ray'sduties included facilities engineering support related to electric power and water production, wastewater treatment, HVAC, DDC controls, and energy efficiency. Finally, from 2014 to 2016, they were employed at Stolle Machinery Company LLC as an Electrical Engineer. In 2016, they began their current role as Director of Automation at Translarity.

Ray Sundby earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in Business Administration and Operations Management from Troy University Dothan.
