Paula Cloghessy

Paula Cloghessy is currently the Chief People Officer at Translate Bio. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Translate Bio from January 2018 to December 2021. Paula has also worked as the VICE PRESIDENT of HUMAN RESOURCES at Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc. from January 2010 to December 2016. During their time there, they were responsible for building a comprehensive HR infrastructure flexible enough to scale with organic growth, spanning research and development and production operations. Paula also led the design and execution of an aggressive global talent acquisition and management strategy that increased employment by 100% in just two years. In addition, Paula devised innovative employee engagement strategies that attracted and retained top-achieving employees and resulted in maximizing the organization’s market competitiveness and long-term success.
