Corina Ionescu

Corina Ionescu has extensive experience in translation, terminology management, and communication within European institutions. Since March 2016, Corina has served as the Acting Head of the External Relations and Communication Section at the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union, while also holding roles as Terminology Manager and Language Technician. Previous roles include freelance translator, reviewer, and quality assurance specialist from April 2011 to February 2016, and translator and reviewer at the European Central Bank from August 2008 to September 2010. Corina's career began at the European Parliament, where responsibilities included deputy coordination of the PreTranslation Service and CAT tool training. Additional experience includes part-time agency management and linguistic revision for various organizations. Corina holds a Master's Degree in Computational Linguistics from Inalco and a Bachelor's Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the University of Bucharest.
