Alex Buran

Alex Buran is the President and CEO of Translation Services USA. Alex has over 20 years of experience in the language and translation industry, and has founded or co-founded several successful companies.

Buran began their career in the language industry with Ackuna, a start-up that allowed users to learn a new language while doing translation work. Ackuna was later acquired by Todayter, a boutique language translation agency, where Buran served as President and CEO.

In 2011, Buran founded Translation Cloud, the first of its kind start-up to post-edit machine translations powered by Facebook's community. Translation Cloud offers developers API and its technology is used for email, document, website and software translation projects. In 2019, Translation Cloud was acquired by Translation Services USA.

Buran is a passionate entrepreneur and believes in the power of language to connect people and cultures. Alex is dedicated to providing quality translation services that are accessible and affordable for everyone.

Alex Buran's educational career includes an entrepreneurial masters program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BBA from Baruch College, both in the field of small business management.
