Castro Desroches has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Castro is currently employed at Translation, where they started as a Senior Art Director from September 2019 to December 2020. Castro then progressed to the role of Creative Director from January 2021 to August 2021, and is now the Group Creative Director since August 2021.
Alongside their work at Translation, Castro is also an Adjunct Professor at The City College of New York, starting from January 2021.
Before their current roles, Castro worked as an Art Director at Droga5 from July 2016 to September 2019. Prior to that, they were an Art Supervisor and later a Senior Art Director at Havas Worldwide from December 2014 to July 2016.
Additionally, they served as an Art Director at Entrée Health New York from June 2012 to November 2014.
Castro's journey in the creative field started with him founding a social platform called Viral Status in May 2009. Castro acted as the Founder and Creative Director, engaging and promoting independent creatives and their work until November 2014.
Castro also had previous experience as a Designer at City College of New York from January 2011 to May 2012, and as a Creative Intern at Young & Rubicam from January 2010 to August 2010.
Castro Desroches completed a Masters (M.P.S) in Branding & Integrated Communications, with a focus on Advertising, at The City College of New York in 2016. Prior to that, Castro also attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from The City College of New York, specializing in Electronic Design and Multimedia. Castro's earlier education includes attending Sewanhaka High School, where they completed their high school education and focused on Art & Design.
